TikTrake Privacy Policy
Last updated: 20 September 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Mingmei (Tianjin) International Engineering Co., Ltd., operating the TikTrake platform at https://tiktrake.com, collects, uses, shares, stores and protects personal data.
It applies to the website, the web application, mobile builds and any related services (together, "TikTrake" or "the Platform").
By using the Platform you acknowledge the practices described here. Where local law grants you stronger rights, those rights prevail.
Who we are
The Platform is operated by Mingmei (Tianjin) International Engineering Co., Ltd. ("we", "us", "TikTrake").
- Company: Mingmei (Tianjin) International Engineering Co., Ltd.
- Registration No.: 91120104MAE6BFFBB92

Data we collect
We collect only what the logistics workflow requires:
- Account data: name, email address, phone number, warehouse code, role and language preference.
- Authentication data: sign-in method (email with password, Google, and WeChat where available), session tokens and optional two-factor settings. We do not use SMS or WhatsApp for registration or sign-in.
- Parcel and shipment data: shipping marks, tracking numbers, weights, dimensions, declared contents, warehouse events and container or air waybill numbers.
- Images: photos of parcels and labels uploaded by warehouse staff or customers, including the automatic date, time and user stamp.
- Derived data: OCR text extracted from label images and AI-generated translations or summaries of that text.
- Technical data: IP address, device and browser type, approximate location derived from language and network, error logs and performance metrics.
We do not intentionally collect payment card numbers, government identity documents or sensitive categories of personal data.
How we use data
- Operate warehouse intake, parcel matching, consolidation and invoicing.
- Retrieve live tracking events from carriers and render maps and routes.
- Send operational notifications about parcels, shipments and account status.
- Detect duplicates, abuse, fraud and prohibited or restricted goods.
- Secure accounts, prevent unauthorised access and keep audit records.
- Improve reliability and performance through aggregated, non-identifying metrics.
We do not sell personal data and we do not use customer parcel data for advertising.
Legal bases
- Performance of a contract — providing the Platform to a warehouse or its users.
- Legitimate interests — security, fraud prevention, service reliability.
- Legal obligation — records we must retain under applicable law.
- Consent — optional features such as marketing messages, which you can withdraw at any time.
Tenant isolation
Every record belongs to a warehouse tenant and is isolated by warehouse code at the database level through row-level security.
Warehouse managers and workers see only their own tenant's data. Customers see only their own parcels and shipments.
Carriers, tracking and third parties
To return tracking results we send the minimum data a carrier requires — usually the tracking number, and for privacy-protected carriers the last four digits of the recipient phone number.
- Cloud hosting, database and storage providers.
- Carrier and container tracking data providers.
- Map and geocoding providers used to place shipment events on the map.
- AI providers used for OCR, translation and assistant replies.
- Email and messaging providers used for notifications.
These providers act on our instructions and may not use your data for their own purposes.
AI, OCR and automated processing
Label images and shipment text may be processed automatically to extract fields, translate content and answer questions in the assistant.
Automated output can be inaccurate. It is a working aid, not a legally binding declaration, and a human user remains responsible for confirming parcel data.
International transfers
TikTrake serves cross-border trade, so data may be processed in countries other than your own, including where our hosting and carrier partners operate.
We apply contractual and technical safeguards to keep protection consistent wherever data is processed.
Retention
- Parcel, shipment and invoice records are retained while the warehouse account is active and for as long as commercial or legal record-keeping requires.
- Deleted parcels stay in a recovery bin for 3 days before permanent deletion.
- Technical logs are kept for a short operational period and then removed or aggregated.
Security
- Encryption in transit (HTTPS) and at rest for stored records and images.
- Row-level security policies and role-based access control.
- Optional two-factor authentication for manager and owner accounts, with trusted-device memory.
- Rate limiting, audit logging and least-privilege service credentials.
No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects you, we will notify affected accounts as required by law.
Your rights
- Access a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate data.
- Delete data, subject to legal and commercial retention duties.
- Object to or restrict certain processing.
- Export your records in a portable format.
- Withdraw consent for optional communications.
If your account was created by a warehouse, that warehouse also controls part of your records; we will forward your request where appropriate.
Cookies and local storage
We use cookies and browser storage to keep you signed in, remember your language and map preferences, cache tracking results and store offline intake data before it syncs.
We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
Children
TikTrake is a business platform and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the Platform evolves. The date at the top always reflects the current version, and material changes will be announced inside the Platform.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders and acts as an independent data controller for payment data. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
When you subscribe to TikTrake, billing data — billing name, billing email, billing address and country, tax identifiers where applicable, the last four digits and brand of your card, subscription and transaction history — is collected and processed by Paddle. We never receive or store full card numbers.
- Purpose: taking payment, subscription management, renewals, refunds, invoicing, tax compliance and fraud prevention.
- Legal basis: performance of our contract with you, and our legitimate interest in preventing fraud and meeting accounting and tax obligations.
- Recipients: Paddle as Merchant of Record and its payment and tax subprocessors; our professional advisers; authorities where required by law.
- What we receive back from Paddle: subscription status, plan, renewal or cancellation dates, transaction identifiers and the billing email, so we can activate or suspend your workspace.
- Retention: billing records are retained for the period required by applicable accounting and tax law.
Paddle's own privacy notice is available at https://www.paddle.com/legal/privacy and its buyer terms at https://www.paddle.com/legal/checkout-buyer-terms. Refunds are described in our Refund Policy at https://tiktrake.com/refund.
